If my project is fully funded, I will be able to create student led labs, which allows them to explore different types of fossils. They will learn to categorize fossils into original remain, replaced remains, mold, cast etc. They will be able to hold million year old specimens in their own hands, which will spark their interest in Earth Science. They will explore index fossils and construct a geologic timescale of Earth. This will not only spark my students interest in Earth Science class, but will give them the knowledge to understand the world around them now and in the future. They will understand Earth's past environment and be able to understand implications of future Earth.

About my class
