My students need easy access to 21st Century Technology that focuses on the alphabet, letter recognition, and writing, as well as math foundational skills. Our students will use an iPad to explore their abilities through drawing, counting, making letters, sounds, and then words! These activities will be used during Learning Center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use the iPad during our whole-group and small-group time, learning letters, and sounds as they make words and numbers, as we explore counting skills. Your generous donation to our project will improve our TK classroom by building stronger readers and writers. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age -- and having fun while learning! Additionally, a majority of students do not have access to technology at home, so having a classroom device will help students practice the physical and technological strategies needed to be successful in an ever changing technology-focused world.
