My students love to play and perform with percussion tubes called Boomwhackers in the music classroom. This instrument is best played with a large group of students that work together to play, create and perform beautiful music. We currently have 8 sets of C Major Diatonic Boomwhackers which allow all students to have an instrument to play in my classroom. However, this limits what my students can perform and we are looking to enhance our music curriculum with these extension tools using Octavator caps, the 5-Note Chromatic sets and additional C Major Bass Diatonic sets of instruments. The donation of these extension tools will help my students further their performance and deepen their understanding of the concept of pitch, rhythm and the science of sound.
