By utilizing this Copernicus easel for both small and whole group it will allow us to have our resources closely at hand and be able to more effectively work together. It will also allow us the mobility to move around the classroom. These stories are all amazing mentor texts that we will be able to break down into voice, plot, characters, varying points of view, settings, genre, the list is endless for the possibilities. My goal is for these stories to make lasting impressions on the students and by having them in the classroom they will have the opportunity to read them as many times as they would like. As a second year teacher, I am still building my library and want it to be the best possible for the students.
