Students will be given the opportunity to perform, record, and critique their own performances that are performed in class. This is significant if the student wants to see growth in his/her acting abilities. A student's confidence can also exponentially increase when viewing his/her own works. Students will also use the Cannon Camcorder and other recording equipment to record audition pieces that can be used for college scholarships. The Rode Videomic will ensure that the students' voices are recorded well. The Manfrotto tripod will ensure that the recording is stable and clean. All of these equipment pieces were recommended by our media specialist at CHS for their durability and quality. The ability to submit a clean, semiprofessionally taped audition piece can drastically increase a student's chance of obtaining needed scholarships from various colleges around the state and country. Providing as many opportunities for my students to succeed is my goal.
