By having a document camera, students will be able to get direct instruction as a group. Without a document camera, I am helping a handful of students on the exact same issue and it reduces student success/educational time. With a document camera, I am able to address many students at once, providing them with one-on-one instruction, but in a group setting. By getting a 3D printer, students would have access to real-world technology and prepare them for their chosen fields. It would provide them with a tangible way to see their dreams come to life from the drawing board. I can remember as a student, the most exciting things were: technology and things I created. By utilizing this technology, we are accomplishing both. Suddenly a design becomes more to the student than just a piece of paper, but rather a tangible piece they can show off and say, "I did that!"
