My students are in need of flexible seating options in order to help them become more comfortable and engaged in their learning. No two people learn in the exact same way and I want my students to have the opportunity to learn in the manner that is most comfortable to them. My ultimate goal is to create a classroom environment that allows my students to be relaxed, happy, and engaged in their work. Flexible seating will give the students choices that regular desks and tables do not. Stability balls provide the students with an opportunity to work out wiggles and stress in a safe and non-distracting manner. Large pillows and reclining seats provide more comfort for students while reading and they will then be able to better retain the information.
