Students thrive in varied learning environments. While I am not able to offer a classroom full of flexible seating options, I do believe that some students will be more successful when given the option to stand while they work and participate in classroom activities. Our society has become quite sedentary over the last 50 years or so, and I believe that offering these two requested standing desks will allow students the option of standing to combat this unhealthy habit. Students will be able to learn and engage in my classroom with a comfortable standing option that is better suited to a healthier lifestyle.

About my class
