Dictionaries and thesauruses are such a key component in my classroom. The current ones we have in our classroom are odds and ends that people have given to my since I started my first year of teaching last year. I am very grateful for these donations because without them my students wouldn't have any to use. However, they are either in very rough shape and falling apart at the seams or so outdated that we can not find accurate information in them. My students would really appreciate dictionaries and thesauruses that are not crumbling in their hands. I want to have enough in my classroom so that all students can have their own instead of waiting for someone to finish using one or having to constantly work in pairs.
