My students continue to show growth each and every day, both academically and emotionally. With these materials, I can organize the classroom and provide incentives that will further their desire to come to school. My students deserve for school to be a fun, safe environment to explore and learn. I know they will be more productive and eager to engage if they come to school without the worry of needing a pencil. We need organizers for class materials, flexible seating options including kick bands, and a dry erase easel Something as simple as allowing students to sit on a rug during whole group instruction has changed their behavior for the better. I can imagine giving them the opportunity to sit on ottomans or use the kick bands at their desks will work wonders.
