Maillboxes will have such a huge impact on my classroom management. Mailboxes will provide a place for the children to put their finished work & where I can put important forms to go home. They are using cubbies right now to put all of their books and papers. It is difficult because the children cannot see the papers in their cubbies and everyday I am constantly telling the children, individually, to check their cubbies to take home the papers they worked on that day.
That is where the mailboxes come in. I would be able to tell the children to put their finished work in their mailbox. Then they would have a space for their books in their cubbies and their finished work in their mailbox. This would save time when packing up at the end of the day and would make my classroom management run a lot smoother.
I really hope that you will consider donating supplies for my classroom. I am a first year teacher and need assistance buying essential things. By having these nicer wooden mailboxes they will hopefully last longer than the cardboard ones and I will be able to use them throughout my career! Thank you for reading and please consider donating to my classroom!
