Placing Boogie Boards into the hands of my students will allow them to take an active and meaningful role in our language arts and mathematics lessons everyday. My students will use these boards as a means to follow along with a lesson, show their learning, and will allow me to check for understanding in a fun and effective way. As of now, we use dry erase boards that are worn and unclear. Our markers are frequently drying out, and the students are uninterested in the materials. Boogie boards are a new, advanced form of a dry erase board that will encourage the engagement of each child.
