New literacy and math centers will put my students on a different life trajectory due to the enriching experiences with math and literacy. Having enriching materials during center time will help reinforce standards and skills we are learning in class. This is so important at this age. These center materials will bring so much learning and joy to our classroom. Many students would benefit from a listening center and hearing stories. This is so important in low-income communities like the one I teach in. I am so excited that with your help we can bring literacy and math skills my deserving students. The listening center will be able to house eight students at a time. Students in this center will be able to listen to a variety of stories. The materials I am asking for are non-fiction stories, fiction stories, and read along stories. These products will allow my students to have exposure to different types of literature, fiction, and non-fiction. Students will rotate through the listening center each day. The literacy center materials I am asking for are a word work game, a sight word game, and a sight word sentence game. These literacy centers will give students the practice with identifying and recognizing sight words, building sentences with them, and learning new letters, words, and sounds. All students will rotate through one of these literacy games a day. The math center materials I am asking for are a subtraction game, a addition game, a comparing numbers game, and a word problem game. These math centers will give students practice with number fluency, recognition, addition, and subtraction. These game-based literacy and math centers will allow students to have exposure to letters, sounds, and numbers. Thank you for helping my students.
