I teach at a Title 1 campus in a low-income district. Due to Hurricane Harvey, most of my students' homes and our school were damaged from flooding. The books, technology, and other resources will help re-build my classroom and create a strong learning environment. The tablets will make it easy to do small group activities with the students in a fun and engaging way. In first grade we try to cultivate a love for reading, and the books listed will help in this process.The large classroom rug will be a nice meeting place where we can work together. My students have lost so much recently, that I want them to feel safe and excited about our classroom and year together. I appreciate any help that can be given for my students!
