An iPad will help my students with communication by using Apps that use picture text and voice output technology. This will give students who are non-verbal the gift of speech. I can enhance student learning within the classroom by having students research information for writing projects and presentations. They can also use these IPads for independent learning. They can also use the iPad when working with their Speech Therapist to build vocabulary and phonemic awareness. I will also have my students work on social studies research projects for their digital backpacks for success. This technology will provide my students with individualized work.
