Having the iPads will allow for students to have up-to-date technology at their fingertips to assist them with a multitude of tasks and assignments. The students will be able to use the devices to look-up and see examples of concepts, ideas, and significant individuals and events discussed and learned in class. The students in our class could use the iPads to enhance their understanding of vocabulary words by researching additional ways vocabulary words are used and their origins. Additionally, students could use the iPads during intervention to watch videos to further assist them in solving complex math problems. The iPads will primarily be used as the students work within their 5 teams to complete workstation tasks like games, scavenger hunts, interactive presentations, WebQuests, research projects, and more that serve as enrichment and extension activities to their classroom learning. The students will also be able to record videos and capture photos of their learning experiences.
