Many of the students in our school and community do not have access to a washer and dryer to clean there clothes. Student that do not have access to clean clothes often miss school because they do not want to come to school with dirty clothes on. School children who miss school frequently risk falling behind their peers and dropping out of school all together. The washer and dryer will be used by the students to wash their clothes and school uniforms. It will also be used by the low incident classroom teachers to teach basic life skills to their students. Our hope is that the washer and dryer will allow the students who need clean clothes access to clean clothes.

About my class
