I will use these books in my classroom library. Students will be able to select from the books to put in their book box for independent reading time. Having these additional books will give my students more choices of books to hold their attention during our independent reading time. I want my student to be excited about reading, having non-fiction and fiction choices will increase the chance of them finding a book they will love! I know if they find a book they love they will be more engaged and willing to read. Reading is such an important part of building the foundation of a life long learner.
