When you enter my classroom you will see a strong class community. My students will be collaborating with their peer and encouraging others. My students face many hardships outside of school. My students view our classroom as a safe place where they want to come everyday. The students in my class come from low-income families with all students receiving free breakfast and lunch. Although students face challenges on a daily basis that doesn't stop them from trying their very best in school. It is my goal to be the teacher for my students that I needed growing up. I want to teach my students to treat everyone with kindness and I lead by example. My students work so hard everyday despite the challenges they face.
