My classroom has few musical instrument resources, and some of them desperately need to be repaired or replaced. The xylophones on my list will replace some of the existing ones in my classroom that are a little beyond repair. The hand drums simply add to the inventory to provide new sounds for my students to learn. All instruments will be used as a vehicle for my students to not only learn about music, but to create. These instruments are used with the Orff-Schulwerk approach to music education, which allows students to take a small idea and create something big with it!
