I teach very enthusiastic and energetic sixth graders. These flexible seating options will allow my students to a more comfortable learning environment. When I ask them to go back to their seats; now they will have options on where they choose to work. If you can give them options they are more likely to finish the task at hand. The soft seating will allow children to work and collaborate together. I have students in my class who are special needs and the balance ball seats will permit them to wiggle, move, and learn. These flexible seating options will give them a safe, comfortable, and non-threating space to express their feelings and work in a secure space. They will also be used for the children to have seating options in the math small group learning; 2 for 1 . . . yay!
