My students constantly inspire me with their enthusiasm for learning and performing music. They have all been dedicated students of the recorder, but it is my goal to introduce them to a different family of instruments, and there is no better place to start playing strings than on the ukulele! With the purchase of these classroom ukuleles, I intend to give all my students kindergarten through 5th grade, the opportunity to sight read simple melodies, learn chords and rhythm, and to accompany themselves as they sing, enriching their musical experience in the classroom and beyond.
