Dawson County High School is a rural school that services roughly 350 students in eastern Montana. As such, funding is tight, as are resources. As an English teacher, I believe it is my duty to prepare students for their futures by exposing them to multiple perspectives within literature and other texts. If I can bring diversity to the students of DCHS, then they may be globally cognizant of other perspectives, which is incredibly important to me.

About my class
