Kindergarten is a magical time. I teach writing starting the first day of school. These journals will be used to daily to capture their writing throughout the year. These type of journal is critical to help them learn to form their letters properly and have a space to illustrate their thoughts. They will also be used to illustrate our weekly poems. It is amazing to compare their beginning of the year efforts to their blossoming stories at the end of the year. These journals are sent home every Friday so that their parents can share in celebrating their daily efforts!
