I have 24 students ranging from grades K-4 in our multiage Project-Based Learning public school classroom. We focus on inquiry and hands-on STEAM activities while focusing on the whole child's development. Social skills instruction is imperative as much of our instruction is done in small groups where students work together to solve problems. We embrace 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Our classroom provides an option for students to learn through doing, playing, and creating.
