Eastside High Schools NJROTC Program uses the proven and effective military model in the high school environment to help students embrace ethical values of good citizenship, develop leadership potential and learn conflict resolution techniques, develop communication skills both written and oral, the impoortance of staying physical fit and maintaining good health, avoidance of negative peer influences and creating and embracing positive influences, leaning to work as a team and problems as a team, learn about the history of the military as it relates to American culture, Graduate from high school with GPA's above 3.0, learn and develop a life plan with options after graduation, and take advantage of the benefits and opportunites available to them upon graduation whether the next step is enlisting in the military, attend college, or pursue Vocational Training. The tools for success will be in the tool box. LCDR BLH
