I teach Spanish to my 38 first grade dual language students. Some students come in not knowing any Spanish and it is important for them to feel comfortable in the classroom while learning another language. Although we have some flex seating options, we do not have enough. These flexible seating options will help students feel comfortable when they are reading Spanish books in our classroom library, when they are listening to me teach during our whole group lessons and when we are working on guided reading in Spanish. Learning another language can be challenging so it is important to offer students comfortable seating options so they can focus and do their personal best.

About my class
