Reading is an integral part of our 4th grade learning! We read individually, in small groups and in whole class settings. Having a variety of high interest, age appropriate books is key to a great classroom library that is accessible to all students. This is what I strive for in the classroom. It's so important students are able to explore new books of different genres and get "lost" in these fabulous books. It's imperative students continue to read to improve their fluency and comprehension. We want students to be lifelong readers who not only read to learn, but read for their own personal enjoyment.
