We will be having our first EVER music department, starting line up being in percussion. We have received an awesome donation from Home Depot for some of their orange buckets for our drums. Receiving the funding for the drumsticks we can start introducing music, rhythm and movement to the students. We will be forming a drumming club, after school, to start to introduce these techniques and music concepts. Our goal is to have a music department at our school in the future. What better way then to start with a bucket drummer band. These materials will make such a difference to these kids, we have NO music department currently at our school. Starting with the kids that have the interest in music and in drumming, we can start learning what it means to be part of a group, part of an entity that creates music together.
