Many of my students have diverse learning needs. Most of them can access the curriculum better if given a variety of ways to learn. It might be in a wobbly seat, on the floor, doing work standing up! I want all of my students to have the best opportunities to learn throughout the day. The traditional desks and seats don’t work for all students, I want the students to have other opportunities and to take charge of their own learning. Having flexible seating and different areas in the classroom set up for different learning styles will benefit all students in my classroom. I am requesting wobble seats for children to use at desks as well as floor seats for work areas. I’m also requesting a rug to make our reading area an inviting place to sit and read.
