Scientists need materials to work with and my students are no different! I am asking for a variety of rock and weather resources. The game weather climate and the weather monitoring station will allow my students to record the current conditions in real time and learn how to predict weather based on the patterns they observe. Students will also get to explore weather in centers specifically designed to engage students. Everyone learns better when they’re interested and invested in the material. So I am also requesting a complete rock and mineral survey set and the different rock samples that will allow my students to feel and see the differences in samples and sort them based on their identifying features. The differences they see will help them understand the processes that create different kinds of rocks.
