My students have a wide range of learning abilities, interests, and personalities. Most of my students are from low to middle class families, with limited access to reading materials. My students attend a public school in New Jersey that employs caring teachers who strive to obtain materials that will promote learning. For many of my students, my classroom is the only time when students are able to involve themselves in a good book. Although many of my students prefer video games to reading, I stress the importance of reading. With assistance, I believe any of my students can find books that interest them.
