The world of learning has evolved from black boards, to white boards and now to interactive learning boards. The IPEVO Interactive Whiteboard Systems is just that. A form of technology that the student can interact with and enjoy learning at the same time! To engage students in learning is to keep them interested and motivated. Students today, come to us with so much technology knowledge that teaching off the white board is boring for them. Once they get involved in technology activities their faces light up and they are very engaged in learning. This is their world. With the IPEVO, it will enable me to create lessons and activities that will address all learners and have them be active participants in the classroom. I want my ELL students to try harder if they feel they can be meaningful contributors. Interaction for all students will be through usage of the special pens. I will use the IPEVO throughout the day to enhance my teaching and student learning in all subject areas. Some activities my students will be involved in are solving math problems by drawing pictures, using a number line, writing equations, revising and editing writing pieces, identifying information on reading passages, and even art.
