Having an iPad will allow for differentiated learning for my students. One way they will be used is as skill practice. My students will be able to practice their learned skills using games and other programs such as abc mouse and starfall. Students will also be able to use various differentiated writing tools in order to write stories on the iPad. Finally, students will use the iPad to practice and learn basic math skills that include number sense, adding, subtracting, and other curriculum related skills. My project will make a difference because it will engage my students and capture their attention long enough for them to practice the lifelong skills they need to be successful students and citizens. This grant will help to close the learning gap just a little bit more.
