Working at a school with a 99% free /reduced lunch student body comes with a great deal of limitations. The most obvious being limited funds. My students rely heavily on whiteboards and dry erase makers during math, because it drastically cuts back on the need/funds for paper. Having reached the mid-year point, much of our beginning of the year supplies are either consumed, or no longer functional. Hence, our urgent need for the replenishment of pencils and a pencil sharpener. Spending 10 minutes trying to find a pencil or a dry-erase marker that is not dried up can definitely cause a hiccup in the learning process. My parents are amazing, and very active in their child's education. However, when faced with buying school supplies or feeding the family...the choice is no longer a choice. Any consideration is greatly needed and extremely appreciated. Respectfully, Mr. Robinson
