Welcome to my classroom! We are in a small school located in rural Illinois. My students come from all backgrounds, but in our room we are all considered equal. I have always wanted my students to view my classroom as a safe place where everyone belongs. Sadly, there are several students in our district that count on our school to provide that because they are not blessed with that type of environment outside of school. Students come in my room for Math, Reading, and Social Studies. We are constantly learning something and using all forms of technology. The students that I see each day know that when they come into my classroom they should expect the unexpected. We are always trying new things and putting a different spin on every day activities. 5th grade is a fun place to be!
