We will use the Breakout EDU boxes to learn different mathematical skills and collaborate in an engaging, hands-on way! It's so fun to follow clues and try to solve problems together! Everyone loves a mystery! For many students, math can be viewed as unrewarding; however, these escape boxes will provide an immediate extrinsic reward for students' hard work! Many of my students are reluctant learners who will value the opportunity to engage in learning differently! School often looks the same for them: Every day requires them to sit and perform. I want them to know that they can be themselves and have some fun! We will work together to learn and grow using breakout boxes. Let's escape the dull conventions of the typical classroom and BREAKOUT!
