I have been gifted enough Sit/Stand desks to replace the uncomfortable, limiting desks in my classroom. Unfortunately, we do not have enough chairs for me to utilize this incredible donation. I work with a population that would greatly benefit from a learning environment that allows students the CHOICE of whether to sit or stand while they receive the best education possible. The flexibility that the chairs for the desks will provide will give me the opportunity to provide more kinesthetic learning activities for my students. It is imperative that we give students a choice in their educations, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. My students work so incredibly hard in and out of class! However, only so much can be done with the standard desks that we are provided. Many of our current desks are missing screws, are dented, and are barely able to support the students. Please help me help my students by helping me purchase chairs for these once in an (educational) lifetime desks.
