My students need these novels that are interesting and create the urge to want to read more. Edgar Allan Poe writes beautiful pieces of work but not all students can access the writing. These books will make it so my students can read, hear, and see what Poe is writing. I currently have one copy of the books and have used them on the doc camera but with each student having a copy we are going to be able to all have access and view the art and compositions. My students are often inspired so much by the reading that they research and find more works by Poe and read them as well. The graphic novel style really helps to keep their interest as well.
