My students will use the Chromebooks and accessories to practice reading and math skills during center times independently. The headphones will allow them to practice independently with the least amount of distractions. This will also help my students become more proficient with technology. Because my students are at varying levels having, Chromebooks will allow them to practice at different levels according to their needs, such as rhyming words, beginning sounds, sound discrimination, letter recognition, sound/letter relationships, sight word recognition, blending, counting, number recognition, one to one correspondence, and addition/subtraction. Some students still need to work on colors, shapes, and basic concepts.
