I teach math to 6-8th grade students with disabilities in a resource setting. The students are following the standard course of study, but have learning disabilities which hinders their learning. The challenge of my class is to reach the students at the level they are and bring them up to their grade level expectations. I do this with individualizing instruction, especially including a lot of hands on learning.
