My students are 2-4 years old. They are inquisitive, funny, vivacious & sponges that absorb every thing around them. I am Elise Washington I their teacher. I work for the NYCDOE. This is my 23rd year of teaching with the department. socioeconomic status. As Wonder Teacher Washington I want all children to have access to HIGH quality educational experiences, that will help them make the world even more of a WONDERful place! With these funds I will purchase two strollers. They will allow my toddlers to take rides in the community. Shirley Chisholm, Jackie Robinson to Jay Z. The next SUPER STAR could rightfully be in my stroller. Taking community walks will help foster positive interactions and relationships between the children peers adults and strengthen children’s outcomes. When children have a sense of belonging and feel safe and secure and supported they have the confidence to play explore and learn.
