Help me motivate my students to read vigorously! Reading is one of the most important skills that students learn in their formative, developmental years. I want my students to develop a passion for the written word and to love their reading time in the library. Our school is a school in need of improvement. We have many challenging students, and we are looking for ways to motivate them to read. One of the ways to increase fluency and comprehension is to have the students read independently every day. An uncomfortable metal table and chair is not where I want my students to spend their reading time; I want to provide them with a bright, colorful, and inviting space to learn the joy of relaxing with a great book My end goal is to create special areas in the library to make reading fun and memorable for my students. My students cherish books and have a love for reading, but the library needs some comfortable and cozy reading areas. Any support or donation would be wonderful! Thank you so very much!
