My students are in need of new toys to help promote social emotional and new playing skills. My goal for this year for students to help learn how to engage in different activities during the school to help promote their learning. These items will help be able to explore and learn new playing skills to help improve their social skills. My students are need of increasing their social interaction with their peers and teachers; these items will help them learn how to play with their peers and teacher and it will help increase their communication skills. Having the Childcraft Occupation Costumes with Hats for Children will help my students be able to pretend-play different roles within dramatic play and understand how community helpers help our community. The Emotional Baby Super doll will promote my student how to learn about different emotions and learn how to express their emotions using this doll. The Three Little Pig story puppets will help my students be able to engage within retelling a story which is a core standard skill. The Hammering Kit will help my students with increasing their fine motor skills by pulling out the pegs and hammering the pegs in. The plastic food, animals, insects and vet kit will help my students with their functional play skills. The sorting bears will my students to be able to sort by different colors and this will help with increasing their math skills. The sand will help my students learn how to tolerate different textures. The books that are included in my project are great repeated reading that my students will be able to repeat and retell the story. My students deserve the best and need these items to help them succeed by learning different social and play skills.
