Every student has the right to a JOYFUL reading experience. This project will provide my students with books on their individual reading levels, allowing them to make connections to the world. This project will also give my students an opportunity to practice fluency and reading comprehension with a partner, which allows relationship building. Reading opens your mind to new explorations and shall lead you to many great adventures. I tell my sweet, eager second graders all the time: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.”- Dr. Seuss
