Our classroom although small provides an inviting space for students to play a variety of instruments. Students who participate in my program range from third to eighth grade. These students are motivated, creative, talented, and above all appreciative of their music electives. Many of the students who begin playing violin in third grade continue to play well into middle school. Their early exposure to music inspires them to become stronger musicians and it also sparks an interest to play multiple instruments. Our goal every year for our musicians is to achieve a lifelong appreciation for music. Through these instrumental music classes, method books, a mixture of repertoire, my goal is to support our students to the best of my ability.
