I would like to have enough tablets for students to work in small groups by reading stories online, playing math games, practicing math facts daily. Students now days find technology a much easier way to stay focused. It also gives them incentive to want to complete their work. Using technology is required in almost all work fields today. How better to train our future, except hands on experience. Math facts and games on the tablets saves our economy paper and ink which helps with recycling. This is also one of our newest projects that we are instilling in our young learners. As of now, our school funding can afford only 1 computer lab for 500 students. Having tablets in my classroom would be wonderful!
