Having these Chromebooks will allow for different structures of learning in my class. One way they will be used is to access personalized math support through a fun program called ST Math. Students play games and learn important math concepts. Having students on guided & independent math programs allows me to focus on small group instruction to support struggling students and challenge my higher performing students. Students crave small group attention and always perform better when we are able to teach in this way. Students also have access to lessons posted on our Google classroom that they can access as often as they need to practice and master a skill. Combined these structures allow my students to feel more confident and connected to their learning. If they are more confident they will be more empowered to tackle challenging work and believe in their potential as learners!
