These instant film cameras with film will make a difference for my students as they work through extended projects. For example, a student may use the camera to document a ramp he or she designed in the block area. By capturing the photo concretely, the engineering process can continue the next day as the ramp is improved. Students will learn how to make reflective decisions about what should and should not be documented. By limiting the number of photos, they will have to use critical thinking skills in order to inform decisions. Displaying these photos will inspire students to continue working on concepts from previous experiences.
