My students have been learning about living things in our classroom. It would be a great support to them to be able to view a life cycle in their very own classroom. Of course they hear and talk about life cycles in school, but it would be very powerful and memorable to them to be able to see a life cycle up close and personal! This will also benefit the student's writing, as they will be keeping a science journal and writing about the different stages of the life cycle after observing the chicks. Every year the entire 3rd grade hatches chicks as a project, and my class would love the opportunity to participate in this project with them! In order for my wonderful students to participate in this project, they are in need of an incubator, and a feeder to feed the chicks when they are hatched. We would be so grateful for your donation so that we could turn this project into a reality.
